If you have a new idea that comes to mind related to this that is stronger I grant you creative freedom.The sources used for the summative can be reflected in the literature review.Summative Submittal I Thesis Topic ProposalThis is the first of three summative submittals for the term. This assignment will be evaluated on the basis of clarity and completeness of the response; knowledge of the thesis project type as demonstrated through a summary of cited scholarly articles and books; graphic presentation of thesis factors; independent study subject; a detailed research question; and specific strategies for adding to the interior design body of knowledge.The summative submittal will consist of an oral presentation supported by slides and a written response to the prompting questions. Provision of topic headers and use of key terms will help the reader navigate your proposal.Knowledge of the thesis Project type (category and subcategory): This will be demonstrated in the written Word document by a brief (900 1,000 word) narrative description of the project type and identification of the issues faced by the designer of this project type in 2021. At least three sources will be identified through in-text citation of author and date, and a bibliography of references consulted. In the slide presentation this knowledge will be demonstrated by a slide or slides with images and/or diagrams and a bullet-pointed history and issue set. [6 points]Graphic presentation of Thesis Factors will take the form of a table, matrix, or diagram of these factors, with an indication of their relationships to each other, and their importance to your project. The graphic presentation will appear in the slide show and the written narrative. In delivering the slide show, be sure to explain why these factors are important. The written narrative will summarize this importance. [4 points]Independent study: identify a subject you would like to pursue independently, through research or other activity, during this semester and describe your strategy to increase your understanding of this subject. [2 points]Detailed research question: State your research question, then develop it into specific questions that can be answered by your research.
