[SOLUTION] Medical Terminology

Situation: In my first semester of nursing program, I receive F grade in two of the courses that is Pathophysiology and Family Health Assessment. I failed two of the classes that is the reason I have to write the letter to the Student affair committee of college to continue the program or to request reentry.My professor suggestion: Hi, Rabina, to be able to take the classes over what you need to do is this. Look back at the semester and sincerely give thought to what the reasons are that you didn’t pass. Write them down completely so the student affairs committee will understand that you are being honest with yourself and us. Then write about what you have done and will do to be able to pass next time. Some of the things will be studying medical terminology over the summer, reviewing all the PowerPoints and exam review notes, and planning to have a weekly meeting with me, and going weekly or more to tutoring, and what you are going to do differently about time management. You should plan to never miss a class or lab. Through this letter, I would like to request you to give me one chance to reenter in the program (or help me to remain in nursing program). Pathophysiology and family health assessment are tough classes, and we have to give maximum hours for this classes. However, due to covid I need to rest for almost 3 weeks at home at the beginning of my classes. For 3 weeks, I could not concentrate in lecture and I literally did not do anything. This situation made me 3 weeks behind. When I started going to college, I need to give 2 exams in one week which include the missed exam and weekly exam. Every Monday there was exam and also my practical check off. Friday, I used to give my missed exam. Even there was a lot of assignment in week to complete. I could not manage my time. Because of this reason I could not pass my Pathophysiology and Health Assessment class.I really want to be a good nurse. In this summer break I will review all my course PowerPoint and read book properly. Even I will review all the anatomy I and II, which will help me understand the Pathophysiology class properly. I will also focus on medical terminology. I will review the exam review notes and if I have any question I will meet with professor and clear out the things I did not understand.What I used to do is, I used to focus on classes from Monday to Thursday and finish all my assignment in weekdays. Friday, Saturday and Sunday I used to study for my exam and also for my clinical practical.From next semester, after finishing the lecture class, I will go over all the PowerPoint and chapter of that class very same day. I will relisten professor lecture recording and make a fine note. By this way If I have missed anything during class then I will catch the missed thing while listening second time. I will not wait for weekend to study. After completing studying the chapter I will do my assignment at night. I will never miss my classes. I will go to tutoring and try to get help in the things I did not understand. If I have test anxiety I will go to counseling.(I hope you understand why I failed Pathophysiology and Family health assessment classes. What things I would like to change and how I will do in next semester)
