Larynx Cancer

3. Discuss a possible management plan for a newly diagnosed larynx cancer (including the role of the MDT decision and side effects of treatments) holistically and clearly.

There is no need for an introduction. The question must be answered in 500 words. The TNM system is used to stage laryngeal cancer, but this system does not need to be discussed in depth, as it is already done earlier in the assignment.

I would like the different treatment modalities to go with the stage of laryngeal cancer. For example in stage 1 laryngeal cancer radiation therapy or surgery is used etc. I would suggest the format to be something like this, but it is up to you! 1) first stage the cancer to know what treatment modality to use 2) discuss what treatment modality would go with what stage of the cancer 3) discuss side effects of treatment

4) discuss role of MDT and who is on the MDT/why This is just a rough idea, but ultimately it to be brilliant and unique.
