Hate Groups and Extremist Groups

This week we talked a lot about social justice movements and groups. We also talked about counter movements and how there are sometimes violent opposition to movements. For this week’s reading/discussion post, I want you to go to the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website at: https://www.splcenter.org/issues/hate-and-extremism (Links to an external site.) Look at the Hate Map at:https://www.splcenter.org/hate-map (Links to an external site.) What do you notice about this map? Does anything surprise you about it? Research one of the hate groups that you are not very familiar with from the Hate Map. Give a summary of what you learned about them. As always, please make sure you pay attention to grammar, spelling, etc.
