The Chronicles Of Narnia
Research Paper Topic: The Chronicles Of NarinaTopic: Choose a work of British Literature from 1785 to the present that is NOT on our syllabus and write an essay in which you argue/persuade that I should include this new text the next time I teach 2320.To get started:You may choose a second literary work (poem, story, novel, play) by one of the authors on our syllabus this semester or a text by a British author (from 1785 to the present) we will not be reading. Choose a text that interests you and itll be easier to make your case in the paper.Requirements:· This paper must be at least 3 double-spaced pages plus an additional and accurate Works Cited or References page (you can use either MLA or APA format for the style of the paper and documentation). You can find information on both styles in the the Module called Research Paper in our class Canvas page.· In addition to quoting from the text you choose (which is required), you must have at least 2 outside sources that help you make your argument. For outside sources, you can use books or articles that come from the librarys databases. If one or both of your sources come from a general search on the web (Wikipedia, Sparknotes, or the like), it will likely harm your argument (and your grade). You DO NOT have to answer the questions listed below, but these questions may help if you need some options for what to discuss in your paper:· What do you think a future class would gain from reading/discussing your choice? Why?· How does this work fit in with the other writers/topics that we talked about? Or does it offer something we failed to cover in class?· What do scholars have to say about the work you chose?
