Monster’s and Mischief Makers

For this paper, I have approved to analysis the first season of “You,” which is on Netflix. I would prefer that you have watched the show to make this assignment easier. Otherwise you’ll need to watch a whole season “You” on Netflix. A 2000-2500 word research paper (approx. 8 pages, not including footnotes). Your research paper will be a critical evaluation of a “monster” novel or one season of a TV program and will look at how this novel/TV program can be seen in terms of the class material. Thus, your research paper will be an analysis of how your “monster” novel/TV program illustrates and/or critiques the construction of morality, religious literature, themes, and/or figures that we look at during the course of the semester. The novel that you pick, therefore, must have a “monster.” Your novel/TV program must be approved by me (your instructor). You must use at least 5 scholarly sources in your evaluation. Research papers should be focused writing on one particular subject, and demonstrate critical thinking skills and analysis. Pick a topic that interests you, and you will find that you will have more than enough to write about!
