[SOLVED] 457 Transcription Assignment Instructions
I dont understand this Communications question and need help to study.
i will give you a recording(30 second, mp3).
Setting up your word document correctly, using courier NEW font, numbering EACH line, type out the words for what everyone says. Spelling should be close to correct. Restart the numbering for each new transcript.
Then go through and add terminal intonation. Don’t assume questions have rising intonation. Don’t assume statements have falling intonation.
add timing, transcribe overlap, speed and stress.
IMPORTANT!!!!
1. Numbering on each line, lines aligned with each other, three letter acronym for speakers
2. Intonation on each TCU. Interrogatives (questions) marked with correct intonation.
3. Courier new font used
4. Give Some pauses correctly transcribed, pauses given their own line
5. Give Some correct cases of overlap, marked on both lines
6. Give Some correct cases of stress
