Education and Society

You are to choose an educational system from any part of the world and compare it to the Canadian educational system.  Use 2 different theoretical perspectives in your analysis. Your comparative analysis will consider the political structure and ruling practices of each society, the social environment (traditional and/or progressive/repressive,) the arts and cultural and religious environments, and how these affect access to education, views of male and female roles with respect to education. Other points to consider are how the weather, natural disasters, environment, pollution, health, class, family, race, gender affect systems of education. In your conclusion formulate a research question for a study you would be interested in conducting on education and society
