This paper will require some research. You will need to use at least two sources. You will need to compile information and data to demonstrate what the problem is and the seriousness or ramifications of ignoring the problem. As of yet, you are not offering solutions, but you do need to keep in mind that others do not share your point of view that the problem is significant or important.

We will focus our broad topic with this question: Why is lack of writing (or lack of literacy) a problem?

You might consider literacy’s link to crime, problems with inter generational literacy, literacy and employment, etc. or you may take a look at problems that affect people at an individual level, such as lack of letters, memoirs, or personal expression.
