I. Weekly response papers are analytical response papers on AT LEAST TWO of the week’s readings.

Papers should contain the following elements:

• Observations – Consider the readings you have chosen to write about. What stood out to you? What interested you? Did you notice any patterns? Any intriguing themes? Did something excite or offend you? Use quotations from the text to draw attention to these parts of the text and to illustrate to your reader the validity of your observations.

• Conclusions about the significance of issues/ideas raised in the readings. Why should anyone care about what you have noticed or what you are thinking. Push your ideas that extra little bit further.

Paper requirements:

1. 1 single-spaced page MINIMUM (not including a reference page)

2. Times New Roman, 12-point font

3. No title page!!

4. Use APA or MLA citation format whenever you quote or paraphrase someone

5. Use in-text citations

6. A reference page should be included (use the back side of a two)
