Help me study for my Management class. I’m stuck and don’t understand.

How do we measure performance when dealing with Operations and Supply Chains? Concentrating purely on Financial Performance might be misleading. This session focuses on translating strategies int operational execution. A clear understanding of transparency of goals, scope, incentives, and responsibilities is required beyond purely financial metrics. Communication, sharing and coordination, incentive alignment, and most importantly, the need of extended performance measures that link financial performance with operational execution.
