I’m trying to study for my Communications course and I need some help to understand this question.

Choose at least three of the six following common tendencies to discuss:

1. We make snap judgments

2. We cling to first impression

3. We judge ourselves more charitable than we do others

4. We are influenced by our expectations

5. We are influenced by the obvious

6. We assume others are like us

Think of a time when you have experienced each one. What were the outcomes? Would they have been different if the common tendency had not played a part in your perception? How might greater empathy have helped the people involved communicate more smoothly?
