The core text is “Inclusion in Action” by Phil Foreman and Michael Arthur Kelly 2017 Disability Standards for Education 2005 (DSE 2005). the written component of this assessment will work to explain your approach to lesson planning and will include the following: A discussion of your obligations in meeting the needs of all students in your care, and your specific responsibility under the DSE 2005 concerning students with disability. Explanation of UDL and its key principles highlighting how you have used these within your lesson plan to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners. An overview of the needs of your focus student with an explanation of how you have addressed their needs within your lesson plan. The lesson plan needs to be annotated and differentiated to meet the needs of a student with a disability joining a mainstream classroom
