Covenants between the Lord and the People of Israel

Throughout the Hebrew Bible, the L-rd has sought to establish Covenants with the People of Israel.  Describe each of the three major Covenants (i.e., Noahic, Mosaic and Davidic) and the biblical characters associated with each of them.  What were the obligations of the People and what did the L-rd promise in each of them?  In your opinion, are each of the Covenants still valid?   What are lessons for us today with these Covenants?
