Work Of Art
Students will select a work of art that we cover in class. Students will write a 2 page paper that answers the following questions: What is the background to the piece? (The artists background and purpose). What is the meaning of the piece? What was the intention of the artist? What is the message the artist was meaning to convey? This paper should be submitted as a Microsoft Word attachment in D2L. This submission should be primarily in your own words. I am not concerned with what others think of the work of art, rather I want to see how you interpret the work. As much as possible rely on your own words.
