Report 1 Case study – Health and safety and addresses the learning outcome ‘critically evaluate the risks associated with commonly occurring occupational health hazards (chemical, physical, ergonomic and biological) and appropriate occupational hygiene management systems to control and monitor these hazards in relation to relevant statutory requirement / analyse and critically evaluate safety technology performance and the implementation of appropriate management systems regarding the creation of safer, healthier and more efficient workplaces. Identify the health and safety issues based on the case study. Submit a health and safety report incorporating Harvard referencing. Marks will be awarded for demonstrating and evidencing the ability to: Demonstrating a good understanding of the theoretical principles and practical application of health and safety regulations, approved codes of practice, guidance etc. Demonstrating ability to research effectively into the chosen case study. Demonstrating ability to explain the solutions based on the level of risk in a practical, theoretical and legislative context. Demonstrate extensive background reading and the use of peer reviewed literature. Appropriate structure, content and use of Harvard system of referencing.
