Global Workplace

Integrating concepts from Chapters 1 of both of your texts and examples from your own life and/or the media, describe your global workplace philosophy.  Given the question posited on p. 24 of your VB text: “Are cultures merging into one global culture?”, and the notion of world culture posited by CM text on pg. 2-4, and terms from CM Ch 1 such as globalization, glocalization and grobalization, and thinking of the relationship between the global and the local, define and describe, in your own terms, what a global workplace means to you.Define global workplace using terminology from the text.Incorporate your own experiences and/or examples from the media to describe what a global workplace means to you.Describe how the global workplace differs from more traditional understandings ofworkplace environments.How do you think intercultural communication relates to how people should work in a global workplace?Make sure to incorporate both your opinions and experiences and scholarly materials from the text in your analysis.
