Being a Coach Potato
Over the last few months the pandemic has changed my life drastically. As a result I have found that I have more time to myself. I have always been a super active and involved person (in school activities, such as cheerleading, spending time with friends). This also meant that I had very little free time. I have always been an A type personality and as a result have always put a significant amount of pressure on myself to succeed. Which in turn has caused me a great deal of stress and anxiety. I have never really spent a lot of alone time or taken time to self reflect. Over the last few months, I have learned to do that by being somewhat of a coach potato and have found that I really enjoy taking some time alone, curling up, chilling and watching Netflix. However, many people have had a negative perception of what a coach potato is. I want to persuade my audience that being a coach/online video streaming potato can be a good thing.
