Access the Carbon Footprint Calculator website from the U.S. EPA, and calculate your Annual CO2 emissions per year after entering information for home energy, transportation, and recycling. Prepare a 350- to 700-word report outlining your carbon footprint. Include the following points in your report: Report your household’s annual CO2 emissions and compare them to the average household in the U.S. Are you above or below average? What are some reasons for your placement? Explain the impact CO2 emissions has on the environment. Provide at least 2 examples of potential impacts on your local environment (within 50 miles). List 3 ways your household could reduce their CO2 emissions. Which of these would be most realistic to implement? Which would be most difficult to implement? The negative impact of CO2 has been well established in your report. Now consider CO2 and carbon from a positive perspective. Add the following to the end of your report: Examine the benefits of carbon dioxide to life on Earth. Examine the good carbon does for life on Earth and why its important.
