what you have learned in the discussion board. What do you think are the 3 most important reasons to encourage a fitness walking program for our children? Why would you choose walking as a form of exercise?

I’m studying for my Health & Medical class and need an explanation.

Walking has become like breathing to most of us-we just do it and we don’t pay any attention to it. But when you actually start to track just how much you’re walking, well, your world becomes a whole new world. Walking is one of the best things you can do for your body. Not only is it great exercise that doesn’t feel like exercise, it also has many benefits for your whole person. Walking improves fitness, controls weight, reduces stress, and improves bone density. Research demonstrates that walking is truly the perfect, all-around exercise. Many studies have demonstrated the benefits of walking on not only our fitness levels but also on our brain health , possibly even delaying the onset of Alzheimer’s . Some of the world’s greatest thinkers were also walkers. Ralph Waldo Emerson was a dedicated walker, and his writings have influenced generations. The act of walking can stimulate your brain by giving it more of the oxygen it needs to generate new ideas. Walking can be a great time to organize your thoughts and plan your day.

The reasons people choose to walk for exercise and continue walking are both numerous and varied. Our text lists many reasons for choosing walking as a form of exercise. The listed below are a couple of websites that also offer good information if you haven’t received your text yet. Read the book or one of these articles and then talk about what you have learned in the discussion board. What do you think are the 3 most important reasons to encourage a fitness walking program for our children? Why would you choose walking as a form of exercise? There are no right or wrong answers to this prompt. Make sure you put the article address you read at the bottom of your discussion post or the pages in the text that you found your information. Copy and paste one of these web addresses into the address bar of a new window and then read the article.

Discussion post and peer reviews

I’m trying to study for my Business course and I need some help to understand this question.

DISCUSSION POST MUST BE 10+ SENTENCES AND THE PEER REVIEWS MUST BE 7+ SENTENCES PLEASE USE YOUR OWN WORDS AND DO NOT COPY FROM OTHER SITES STAY ON TOPIC ,BE POSITIVE , AND DO NOT COMMENT ON GRAMMAR ERRORS. TALK DIRECTLY TO CLASSMATES IN PEER REVIEWS!!! YOU MUST COMPLETE BOTH PEER REVIEWS AND DISCUSSION QUESTION!! THANK YOU

1) DISCUSSION POST

Many of you may believe that you have never worked in project management, but in reality, most of you have already at some point in your life. Think back to a time when you organized a key event (e.g., birthday parties, weddings, yard projects, house renovations, family vacations, projects at work) that meets the definition of a project.

  • Describe the event you planned.
  • Summarize the things that went well and / or things that went wrong.
  • Be sure to reference some of the key skills covered from the chapter.

2) PEER REVIEW #2 (STACEY)

Hey, Professor Dr. William Stieber and my fellow classmates,

The only thing that I can think of as of right now is when I planned my wedding and it turned out the great just like I wanted it to, even though it was a small wedding with just family and a few friends. The food was great and everything just turned out so great, as well! I had to send out the invitations and everything, which turned out fine and then we all had to do the ceremony, too, which turned out amazing, as well! Plus, I had to order the cake and it sure was a fine cake, too! The wedding was not a wedding that had a lot planning and such things that usually go with a wedding because it was basically walking down the aisle, and saying our vows to one another, as well. It was just a plain and small wedding as I have stated before.

Also, there is something that should be known about project management and that is when you are doing project management, there is a difference between everyday tasks and routine operations, as well. I made this statement because in the discussion question it states to reference some key skills from the chapter. Understanding why project management is so crucial in the real world is also important, as well, and there are also stages in the project management cycle, too. You also have to be able to manage the technical parts that come with project management, as well, and if you do not then you will not be that successful when it comes to doing project management. Lawyers, accountants, administrators, scientists, contractors, public health officials, community advocates, and teachers all do not have the titles of project managers, but they all can manage and handle project management quite well, though. This is what the webtext for this class states, as well, and I would have to say that I agree with it, too. I also agree with the statement that the webtext says about project management not being a title, but a job requirement, though because you have to be able to handle and manage things like this in the real world no matter what your job title is.

Have a nice and blessed rest of week number one and God bless! Thank you all a lot for reading!

3) PEER REVIEW #2 (HEATHER)

I recently finished a project at work that launched this past Friday. I am off from work until Wednesday, so I am eager to see how it is going when I return. My project was to create a new efficient process for pharmacists in North Carolina to apply for credentials with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina for them to become an approved medical provider for the third-party insurance plan. Managing this process is already part of the day-to-day operations that I support. However, the reason why this was different and considered a project is because when my project reached completion, a new process existed. The existing process is antiquated and tedious, so I needed to make some process improvements to improve communications and reduce the overall time utilized operationally on this portfolio in the future. Furthermore, I utilized resources beyond the typical resources necessary for standard operations. I think overall the project went well, but there was one road bump along the way that was unexpected. Some of the wins, I was able to successfully work cross-functionally to develop the plan and receive the support from others involved. I learned to use new technology in my workplace. The road bump I mentioned that I experienced was related to the time budget I had. Since I needed the program to be ready to launch for this past Friday, I was expecting to work on the majority of the tasks during Christmas week and New Year’s week because we typically expect those days to be slow for our day-to-day operations due to so many people both internal and external taking time out of work for holiday and travel. However, we were very busy on Christmas Eve and I didn’t have the opportunity to work on my project as I expected, which set me back a day. I was worried about not meeting my timeline, but I was able to flexibly move my schedule around to make up for the time lost and the project still launched on time.

Globalization and Civilization (In-class presentations )

I need help with a Sociology question. All explanations and answers will be used to help me learn.

You were selected to reflect on our readings (An Overview of History by Redner and What is Globalization by Kiggundu) located under the module titled “What is Globalization?”

For our next class meeting, I want you all to be prepared to discuss the following questions. As you reflect on these questions and your two readings please aim to prepare written responses though I am not expecting you to submit those written works. I merely want you to be well prepared to lead our in-class discussion.

Although we can certainly debate this point, I want you to address the domain assumptions expressed in the Redner and Kiggundu chapters: Globalization, moving as it does from the center to the periphery 1 and periphery 2 zones, is impressing upon the world the ideas, values and practices of industrial capitalism, a formal-legal-rational system of governance, an appreciation of science and, most certainly, a strong emphasis on education and life-long learning.

Your discussion to the class needs to address whether you agree or disagree with what I have expressed in the above paragraph. In short, is globalization really doing this? If globalization is doing these things, discuss what the future holds for global citizens. If you think globalization is not doing these things, explain what it is doing and then discuss what the future holds for global citizens given your explanation of what globalization is doing.

I wish also for you to develop at least two questions that you will present to the class to stimulate discussion. Be prepared to led the discussion.

As you all are our first presenters, please contact me with any questions you may have.

paper about hacking

I’m studying for my Computer Science class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?

For the Chapter 4 assignment consider the following resources in the context of the powerpoint and text materials:

1) the definitions at this site for the activities we’re discussing:
https://www.us-cert.gov/ics/content/cyber-threat-source-descriptions#terror (Links to an external site.)
2) the issues and observations described in this article:
https://www.uscybersecurity.net/hacktivist/ (Links to an external site.)
3) a practical examination of the reality of cyberterror and internet-based threats: https://www.mmc.com/insights/publications/2018/nov/global-cyber-terrorism-incidents-on-the-rise.html (Links to an external site.), and
4) a view of a potential cyberwar:
https://www.zdnet.com/article/cyberwar-a-guide-to-the-frightening-future-of-online-conflict/ (Links to an external site.)

The ASSIGNMENT: having considered these resources, in addition to the text, submit an analysis in APA format that answers the following questions:

  • Is hacktivism a legitimate form of political protest or criminal activity that should be prosecuted?
  • How comfortable are YOU with society’s increasing dependence upon information technology for national security and social and economic stability? (Consider the many ways that society depends on internet-based information and communications.)
  • Is cyberterrorism a significant danger that requires preparation and responsive measures or an overblown concern that has no real threat? (Consider how cut off from the world you felt when the last hurricane came through and you lost power and/or internet communications.)
  • Will nation-state cyberwarfare capabilities increase or reduce the violence associated with conventional forms of warfare? Will nation-state cyberwarfare actions lead to an actual “shooting war” in the future?

Your submission should be seven or more pages (1 page of cover, 1 page of references, five pages of text with citations to your sources).

Common Herb Chart

I don’t understand this Health & Medical question and need help to study.

Due to the high number of dietary supplements available to the general population, it can be hard to know where to start or what works best for certain health issues. A good place to begin is to familiarize yourself with some more popular supplements available.

Access the Information for Consumers on Using Dietary Supplements page on the FDA website.

Read the following under Additional Information Other Agencies:

  • “Dietary Supplement Fact Sheets”
  • “Herbs at a Glance”

Use the information to complete the Common Herb Chart using this information and other internet resources.

PHI208 question about TOm Regan and value by virtue of being

Need help with my Philosophy question – I’m studying for my class.

discussion 1

Tom Regan says that we all have equal inherent value by virtue of being ‘experiencing subjects of a life’. What does it mean to be an ‘experiencing subject of a life’? Do you think that being the subject of a life means that one has equal inherent value? Does it follow from that view that animals should be given rights to life and freedom?

discussion 2

One famous worry about utilitarianism is that it demands that we regard our own set of desires, ends, and our own happiness, as just one among a great many others whose lives we might impact. Accordingly, our own desires, ends, etc. bear very little weight when determining what the greatest happiness of the greatest number is, and thus what our moral responsibility is. Think of a situation or area of life in which this might be true, and our concern for our own well-being and happiness has to take a back seat to the concern for the well-being and happiness of the greatest number. DO NOT USE YOUR FAMILY CIRCUMSTANCES AS AN EXAMPLE (because that is ‘too easy,’ and, besides, it seems to fit ‘every theory’!) USE A PUBLIC SITUATION, WHICH COULD BE HYPOTHETICAL OR FICTIONAL; IT COULD INVOLVE YOU, BUT DOES NOT HAVE TO DO SO. What might a utilitarian say to someone who thinks this is too high a sacrifice? Would this be a plausible response? Be sure to back up your answer with references to the resources, and respond to your peers by considering what someone who disagrees with them might say.

Individual Application, Reflection, and Synthesis Paper Instructions Write a 1,500-word paper that applies, reflects, and synthesizes the following questions:

I need help with a Nursing question. All explanations and answers will be used to help me learn.

Individual Application, Reflection, and Synthesis Paper Instructions

Write a 1,500-word paper that applies, reflects, and synthesizes the following questions:

  • What does Keller mean when he claims that work is intended for both “cultivation” and for “service?” Why are both purposes critical for us to consider as Christian business practitioners and academics?Especially relative to HRD?
  • Hardy provides a quote from the Apocrypha (Ecclesiaticus or Sirach 38:34, NOT canonized as part of the Bible) as introductory to his book, and the title of his book is pulled directly from this quote. How does this quote, along with Genesis 1:27 from the Bible, provoke Christian worldview thinking regarding HRD as a key focus for any business organization?
  • Analyze and assess the differences between a traditional/administrative view of HRD and a contemporary/strategic view of HRD. How does Christian worldview thinking apply here?
  • How do Equal Employment Opportunity-related statutes inform HRD practice? What are 2 or 3 key ways that the Bible and the creation-fall-redemption-consummation meta-narrative delineate both the inherent “righteousness” of, and the pragmatic “necessity” of, EEO statutes?
  • Review Reading 2.1 and Reading 3.1 from Mello (2019). What are 3 or 4 primary claims of both readings regarding human capital and employee engagement? Synthesize these claims/findings with Keller’s and Hardy’s introductory thinking regarding the importance of working in business (as “vocation” or “calling”) in God’s world.

Required Sources

You must use the course texts as well as articles from scholarly and practitioner journals. Be sure to use current APA format, and include in-text citations for the following sources:

  • At least 2 citations from Mello (2019).
  • At least 2 citations from Hardy (1990).
  • At least 2 citations from Keller (2012).
  • At least 2 citations from related scholarly journals (e.g. Human Resource Development Quarterly, Human Resource Development Review, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Strategic Human Resource Management, Journal of Biblical Integration in Business, Christian Scholars Review),
  • At least 1 citation from a related trade/practitioner publication (e.g. Harvard Business Review, HR Magazine, T&D Magazine, Business Week, Wall Street Journal).

Week 1 Assignments

Help me study for my Computer Science class. I’m stuck and don’t understand.

APA format is required. References should be listed immediately after the question that is being answered. Each question lists a minimum number of unique scholarly references; the textbook is considered one unique reference (per question) regardless of how many times it is used. All references should be from the years 2007 to present day. Each assignment should be at lease 250 words.

Problem 1:

A disgruntled former hospital employee with exceptional computer skills hacks into the hospital network from their home computer and plants a very aggressive computer virus into a Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system. The computer virus activates at 1:00 a.m., shutting down the Hospital Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, security system, building automation, and patient medical monitoring 57 system. Please explain how the hospital’s cyber security team (CST) went about resolving the problem.

Problem:2

A diversified Fortune 500 corporation that provides products and services to domestic and foreign governments and commercial customers suspected that a deceptive intruder was in their network; however, they knew neither the extent of the compromise, nor what (if any) data had been breached. The persistent deceptive intruders used tools and techniques that left trace evidence on each computer system they compromised. These host-based indicators of compromise are present every time the intruders attack a

network. The corporation (client) called a team of advanced persistent

threat (APT) experts to validate their concerns, scope the intrusion, and provide a remediation strategy. APTs are used to identify, scope, and remediate the APT in the government and defense industrial base. The APT consists of skilled and sophisticated deceptive hackers who deploy a complex arsenal of deception malware against specific targets in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), financial, manufacturing, and research industries. Please explain how the APT went about resolving the problem.

Problem: 3

Let’s look at a real-world scenario of how one of the world’s largest banks was challenged to harden network and data center critical infrastructure security deception measures without degrading the high performance required in the financial services industry. The bank’s network security team (NST) was charged with institutionalizing a network security certification process to measure the resiliency (performance, security, and stability) of every element of the network before and after deployment. The goal for the team was to right size the critical infrastructure for each line of business without introducing risk, ensuring that they did not overor underinvest in the network infrastructure. The team used a standardized and repeatable program to certify that devices are able to:

• Protect sensitive customer data from external deception attacks and

insider threats.

• Ensure cyber secure, rapid financial transactions.

• Reduce the risk of legal liabilities associated with noncompliance.

Explain how the bank’s network security team should handle this

situation.
