Help me study for my English class. Im stuck and dont understand.
IT IS IMPORTANT for you to read this introduction completely so you will be prepared to successfully complete all of the activities and assessments in this course. This introduction also provides valuable study suggestions and resources. As you proceed through this course, be sure you follow all the directions provided, and complete all the activities and assessments in the order in which they appear.
This course will introduce you to the three branches of the American federal government: the legislature (Congress), the executive (the president), and the judiciary (the court system). You will learn how each branch of government operates, and you will study the powers that each branch possesses. Each branch of government is able to check the others, meaning that no branch of government can become all-powerful.
The governments powers come from the United States Constitution. This course will analyze the Constitution, noting its provisions for each branch of government. In addition, you will study some important legal cases that have affected constitutional interpretations.
Throughout American history, politicians have debated the ideal level of government activity in society. After the American Revolution, many people perceived national government as the greatest threat to liberty. The Framers of the Constitution had to limit the governments powers (with the Bill of Rights) to win support. As the United States grew, however, people expected the government to assume additional responsibilities and take an active role in protecting civil rights. This course will teach you about the rights and liberties associated with American citizenship, and allow you to form your own views about the proper role of government.
American Government: National Level is divided into six units:
Unit 1: Congress
Unit 2: The Presidency
Unit 3: Federal Operations
Unit 4: The Federal Judiciary
Unit 5: Civil Liberties
Unit 6: Civil Rights

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
One of the major causes of system performance issues is programs that run in the background and are started when the system starts. These programs are usually installed, so they are started from one of two entries in the system registry:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run
As a network administrator, you would like to gather information about these registry entries for all the computers in the network. You have selected Windows PowerShell to write a script for this task. Your plan will result in a document with a script for the tasks involved. Because there are security issues that prevent executing the scripts on remote computers, the script will be distributed to all users on the network as a download link on the company intranet. For purposes of this exercise, security issues can be ignored, so the script is not required to take security issues into account.
- Prepare a document to submit your work:
- Use Word.
- Title Page
- Course number and name
- Project name
- Student name
- Date
- Provide well-documented source code for a Windows PowerShell script that will perform the following tasks:
- Read the registry entries from both of the locations named in the project description.
- Compare each entry to a list of acceptable entries. The acceptable entry list is from a text file named “Acceptable_Reg.txt” that will accompany the script when the script is downloaded.
- Produce a text file report that lists all unacceptable registry entries. Save the report using the computer name as the file name.
- Transmit the report file to the following intranet address:
- intranet.xyzcompany.com/bad_reg.aspx
- Name the document yourname_ITSD327_IP4.doc.

8-10 slides with presenter notes
Your manager comes to you and says that your department has been offered the chance to work on 2 specific projects. Unfortunately, your manager does not know what to do based on the available organizational budget. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation (with presenter notes) that shows if the project with the information below should be selected. To support whether the project should selected, calculate and use the net present value (NPV). Use the following information:
- Project costs $420,000 upfront.
- Current yearly interest rate is 10%.
- Project payouts will be Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, and Year 4, as follows:
- Yr. 1: $110,000
- Yr. 2: $121,000
- Yr. 3: $133,100
- Yr. 4: $146,410
Your presentation must include the following:
- The NPV of the project
- A recommendation of either accepting the project or saying the money should be invested in another endeavor

Week 8 Discussion
Im working on a Writing question and need guidance to help me study.
Discussion: Correlation and Bivariate Regression
Whether in a scholarly or practitioner setting, good research and data analysis should have the benefit of peer feedback. For this Discussion, you will perform an article critique on correlation and bivariate regression. Be sure and remember that the goal is to obtain constructive feedback to improve the research and its interpretation, so please view this as an opportunity to learn from one another.
To prepare for this Discussion:
- Review the Learning Resources and the media programs related to correlation and regression.
- Search for and select a quantitative article specific to your discipline and related to correlation or regression. Help with this task may be found in the Course guide and assignment help linked in this weeks Learning Resources. Also, you can use as guide the Research Design Alignment Table located in this weeks Learning Resources.
By Day 3
Write a 3- to 5-paragraph critique of the article. In your critique, include responses to the following:
- What is the research design used by the authors?
- Why did the authors use correlation or bivariate regression?
- Do you think its the most appropriate choice? Why or why not?
- Did the authors display the data?
- Do the results stand alone? Why or why not?
- Did the authors report effect size? If yes, is this meaningful?
Be sure to support your Main Post and Response Post with reference to the weeks Learning Resources and other scholarly evidence in APA Style.

Designing Healthy Communities for our Future Generations
Consider the multidisciplinary interactions of biological and social sciences as presented in Chapters 2 and 3 (attached). With this in mind, perform an episode analysis of the information delivered in this episode about the future that our children face and how we can build healthier communities for them, as discussed in the text.
Designing Healthy Communities, Episode 2 (Links to an external site.)
Watch the video and look at the suggestions there for improving health in your own community. Once you are satisfied with your review of the episode, write an essay that addresses the following questions:
- Begin by summarizing the episode in 100 words or less.
- Relate the information from this episode to what you learned in Chapters 2 and 3 of your textbook (attached). What specific public health disciplines mentioned in Chapter 2 and 3 of your textbook are related to the information presented in the video and why?
- Critique the information. Do you feel that the information presented is valid and easy to understand?
- What information does the episode offer about public health problems? Consider, for example, whether it provides details on how public health can be characterized and measured and whether it describes common hazards and afflictions affecting modern Americans and American communities.
- What information does the episode offer about the nature of communities? Consider whether it provides details on how communities may be altered to improve public health.
- What information was missing from the episode? How could the content be improved? What would you like to see in future episodes?
Instructions:
- Write a 2-3-page paper, not including the title and reference pages, which are required.
- The paper must be formatted correctly using APA style. Remember, all research material used in your paper must be paraphrased and include an in-text citation.
- Your paper must be properly cited and formatted according to APA format.
- This is an individual paper; however, you should reflect on our Discussion Forums and incorporate ideas from there, as appropriate.
- Be sure you utilize your text appropriately as a reference and cite at least one other credible external reference such as a website or journal article to support your proposed resolution of the case.
