The company you work for has experienced a significant reduction in revenue leading the company to employee layoffs. You are one of several managers who manage a small team (5 people) that works directly with a small group of clients and have been notified that two people from your team are being laid off. Obviously, this will impact how your teams functions. The remaining team members will need to take on the work of the two employees who are no longer there. The clients your team works with will be assigned to new employees. And those employees will now be managing more clients than they did previously.  Your job is to create a communication to the remaining employees on your team to make them aware of the changes, and a communication to the clients to make them aware that they will be working with a new employee. Submit a Word document in which you complete each of the items below: Develop a clear communication to the employees that provides them with the information they need to know in order to continue to do their work at the highest level. The communication should also consider the impact of this news on employees and make every effort to be thoughtful and as transparent as possible within the communication. Identify what form of communication medium is most appropriate (phone call, email, face-to-face, or other medium) at the beginning of the communication to the employees. Address the communication in a way that indicates whether or not this will be to each individual employee on your team or your entire group of remaining team members. Develop a communication to the clients to provide them with the information they need going forward in working with the business. The communication should consider how this news will be perceived by the client and attempt to be thoughtful and transparent as possible within the communication. Identify what form of communication medium is most appropriate (phone call, email, face-to-face, or other medium) at the beginning of the communication to the clients. Address the communication in a way that indicates whether or not this will be to each individual client or all of the clients your team works with. Note: If you choose a phone call or face-to-face meeting, your submission will be the written transcript of that communication. 

Verbal and non-verbal communications are crucial in a negotiation.  For this assignment, you will write a paper in APA format, including an introduction and conclusion, focusing on communication in a negotiation.  Address the following and include a heading for each of the topics: Discuss the importance of non-verbal communications, including eye-contact and body language. Discuss the selection of a communication channel.  Include e-negotiation, and social bandwidth in your discussion. Discuss how you may improve communication in negotiation (also refer to Box 7.2). Discuss the role and three forms of listening.

This course presented a number of different communication theories and applications that can be used in the workplace for individual or collaborative communication. For your final discussion of the course, assume the role of a manager and draft your personal communication philosophy you will use in your new position. Employees always want to know the type of person they will be working with, especially how open and receptive that person can be.

You are a customer service representative for a regional hospital. You do not handle medical issues, only those related to patient satisfaction and facilities. It is the middle of July and there has been an HVAC equipment failure, affecting the entire wing housing maternity and delivery. There are forty-two women currently admitted. Your phone is ringing off the hook, and a very nervous new father is standing outside you door. You’ve been informed that delivery of the necessary parts and the subsequent repair will take at least thirty-six hours. You will assist four of the affected patients or their family members with their concerns regarding the lack of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning in the maternity ward. – must be styled as a log report, with the name of the fictional hospital, date, shifts, – for each interaction note time, describe who is voicing a concern, the problem, and the approach you are taking to assist the customer – be sure to include in the interaction any source of conflict, and the ultimate resolution.

Assignment Description for News Article #1 For this assignment, please select a local newspaper of your choosing. Your assignment is to write a story that could be publishable in the news section of your chosen paper. This news story can be on any subject you so choose.  Additionally, the story can be hard news or soft news format. However, remember you need to consider the audience you are writing for and make sure you are writing a story for the news section. In order to complete this assignment, you will need a minimum of three sources. This needs to be three different interviews conducted to assist with your article. However, due to social distancing guidelines, I’m fine if these are done over the phone or virtually. The primary purpose of this assignment is to give you experience writing a news story.  The secondary purpose is for you to prove that you have journalistic skills—you can identify a good story, find the correct sources, clearly state your thoughts and ideas, and write an accurate account of the story. The article will need to be written in 12 pt. Times New Roman font, double spaced.  It should be approximately 450 to 600 words long, though the length of the story will be largely dependent on what you choose to write about.

Select a topic which allows you to inform your audience of a significant aspect of a culture that is different than your own. Possible topics include social customs, family traditions, holidays, clothing, food, religious traditions, and sporting activities. Refer to Chapter 7 of your text as a guide. Research your topic. Be imaginative in choosing content for your speech. It is not enough to simply summarize basic information from the Internet about a country or culture. Narrow the topic by selecting one specific aspect on which to focus your ideas. Organize the main points of your speech using an informative pattern of organization. Your speech should give your audience a deeper understanding of your topic, but should not be designed to affect your audience’s beliefs, attitudes, or behavior. Provide adequate support for each main point by citing at least three credible sources in the speech. Incorporate examples, narratives, testimonial evidence, statistics, analogies, explanations, and/or definitions where appropriate. Sources must be cited orally in the speech. If you have had direct contact with a different culture, you should supplement your research with your personal experience. Create an introduction and conclusion. Once you have thought through each part of the speech (introduction, body, & conclusion), create a rough draft outline of the speech. Create speaking notes to use during your delivery. Use key words and phrases rather than complete sentences. Your notes should serve only as a memory aid and should not be a word-for-word manuscript of your speech.

My research question is “How to develop friendship with classmates during Covid by Zoom”. I need three Annotated Bibliography for my research question. All my three entries must be scholarly. An annotated bibliography is a specific genre that, for our purposes, will include MLA 2016 style citation and a three-paragraph annotation for each source.
