Central Idea
The purpose of our last project is to give you an opportunity to reflect on your learning this quarter. At the end of every class, it is helpful to think through what you learned and how you might use that information. Therefore, our final assignment will be a writing project reflecting back on your journey through English 90/95. Task: Respond to this Writing Prompt: Think back on your reading and writing skills at the beginning of the term, and then consider where you are at now with those skills. What areas have you improved and what areas may still need practice? How might you use the knowledge you have learned in the future (both your future as a college student and your life beyond college)? 1. Create a central idea. Your reflection should focus on a central idea that responds directly to the writing prompt questions. 2. Develop reflection paragraphs to support your central idea. Each paragraph should have a clear main idea that is supported by specific examples and descriptive details. Within each reflection paragraph, explain how your ideas relate back to the prompt and your central idea.
