For this assignment, students will investigate the current state of immigration in this country. There are already a large number of undocumented individuals in the country. How do you think this issue should be handled? Why? Please address government action, economic action and others as you deem appropriate. Your solution must be reasonable and one that could realistically be implemented. You can select one particular ethnic group or look at all immigrants together. You must support your arguments and recommendations with facts and information obtained from credible sources. For this paper presentation, you are required to use at least 2 recent sources (not older than 3 years). Appropriate sources would be articles written by experts in the field, articles found in peer-reviewed journals, published documents from well-known research groups (e.g. Pew Research), and reports published by government agencies (e.g. NIH, CDC). Manipulating a Photo
Manipulating a photo has been around for as long as photography has, but Photoshop has made it a lot easier to manipulate images. There are some great, creative ways to use Photoshop to express ideas that may not be possible otherwise (we will look at some artists who use Photoshop to create artwork in the next unit). I have worked in Photoshop for 20 years and teach Photo 12: Intro to Photoshop at FCC. That being said, Photoshop can be used in ways that may feel deceitful.
