Select ONE of the CBRN categories, then pick ONE particular agent from that category and based on our readings this term, place yourself in the role of a terrorist and offer your perspective of how a terrorist event could be conducted in your hometown, then provide your perspective on how to prevent such an attack and support your work by a variety of academic material to give your opinion more validity. We face the threat of terrorism every day as people in many parts of the world have for centuries. Our ability to see and hear news instantly in the twenty-first century brings the threat into our homes like never before. Why does anyone turn to terror as a tool of persuasion? How has terror been used in history? Where is terror a daily reality today? Who becomes a terrorist? Who sponsors terrorism? What can be done?

While this is an interesting topic, it is not really an IR topic. Also, when interested in a current or evolving situation, one often needs to research the category into which it fits. For instance, you might look at the research on the current wave of right-wing populism around the world. Or something like that.

I would prefer if the situation caused you personally to have ethical concerns in an organizational or group setting where you lacked the full agency to act.
