Platos Timaeus
I need to All other students will be the content providers. They will submit an essay, vt to equal a 1500-word research essay These will: – investigate a topic in the history of ancient and medieval science. – be limited chronologically to 500 BCE-1500 CE, – discuss as a specific a topic within a narrow time range of about 20 years I also have attached 3 sources that need to be used in the essay Timaeus myth provides answers, not questions, it is strictly political. The science is in the cave, the world is the cave that he talks about. I am extremely interested in Platos Timaeus because he has 3 parts in his writing talking about different accounts and different theories and possibilities. The first account is the account by the intellect that describes artifacts and blueprint of the world and focuses on the most perfect harmonies of the soul. It also focuses on where the soles come and pass away but leaves us questioning how about the body? The second part of his writing talks about account by necessity growth. In the second part, he focuses on a receptacle which is a place pure potential he also has theories with triangles and talks about elements such as fire, water, earth, and air, also natural forms. The last part talks about the new beginning as well as the human body and diseases. I think one of the most interesting things Plato talks about is the description of the body he says that the head and roundness of it keeps the intellect inside, while neck keeps distance from the body, the stomach/belly is the demands of desires, and the spirits are in the heart. His concept of human life is depth is something that I will explore during this assignment. The questions that I have assigned to myself during this assignment is why does Plato refer to human life as depth? where was the blueprint established from? do any other body parts associate with anything scientific or beliefs? why are four elements talked about and how are they related to souls and or bodies? what are perfect harmonies? My initial proposal was this but the essay has to be more focused on Plato physiology/biology in timeus
U.S. Historical Events Between the 1500s-1865
utilizing this link ·The student will visit one of three options related to U.S. historical events between the 1500s-1865: 1. A local museum. 2. A National Park. 3. A befitting video website walking video tour or suitable YouTube link of a Museum or National Park related to U.S. historical events between the 1500s-1865. Regardless of whether the student chooses to physically visit a location or view a site via a weblink route, it is required that they submit a request proposal (via the Mod. 4 Proposal assignment) to the course instructor seeking formal approval before taking the next steps in completing the Mod. 7 writing assignment. ·Following the site visit, using the available assignment template, the student will then type a double space 12 point Times New Roman font reflection (700-800 words) answering the following questions How is this historical site relevant to events within the 1500s-1865 and the area now known as the United States? What historical information did you learn from this visit? What historical event or events were covered via this site? What (i.e.) artifacts and/or other displayed items were interesting to you and why? In other words, what stood out about this place and why? How did the site help you appreciate history? ·The title page and reference page do not count towards the total page count. ·A key purpose for this assignment is to display and determine what aspects of the location impacted the student and how much the student personally learned while visiting a chosen location. Thus, a clear majority of the body-content of the paper should be written solely in the words of the student. Some information for the paper can be BASED from chosen befitting outside sources, but, again, the body-content should dominantly come from the students personal thoughts and experiences resulting from the given location visit. Outside source content may be incorporated within the paper, but should NOT dominate (in verbatim form) a large portion of the write-up. Any borrowed statements from these sources must be placed within quotation marks, properly cited in Turabian format, and these sources must be included (in correct Turabian format) within a closing bibliography section. When you are finished, your assignment must be: o In a Microsoft Word (or compatible) document o Formatted, including: § 12-point Times New Roman font § double-spaced § 1-inch margins § Page numbers placed at the bottom center of each page of text (not including the title page) o Proofread carefully to ensure it is written in scholarly language with no grammar, spelling, or punctuation errors and conforms to the standards of mechanics and style expected at the university level. o A Turabian Quick Guide is available in the Course Content site to aid students in completing citations as accurately as possible.

Collapse of the Soviet Union
What were the main reasons for the collapse? What role did the constant state of militarism and the costs of keeping up with the U.S. military buildup have on the Soviet economy? What role did uprisings and rebellions in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, and East Germany (among others) have on the sudden collapse of the USSR? Option 2: Examine communism and socialism. We hear so often today that socialism and communism are the same things. Examine the similarities and differences between the two. Why do so many Americans seem to hate even the word “socialism”? We already employ some socialism in this country today (and for the past several decades). Examples include libraries, police departments, public education, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, public parks, roads/highways, and so on. How do these services factor into arguments for or against socialism?

Project 3 – Artist Paper: Each student will write a 4-6 page paper on a specific artist or band. The artist may be selected by the student but needs to meet the following criteria: 1) they recorded and released at least three different albums; 2) they first appeared/recorded before 1990, but not before 1960 (artists from the 70s and 80s are preferred), and 3) Dr. Herman must approve your artist before you begin your project. The paper should be a historical perspective that discusses the following:?Where and when did the artist get started? Who are/were their musical influences? A brief career description including relevant awards, concerts, special appearances, turning points, record labels, and/or producers.?A discussion of any relevant non-musical issues such as image, politics, behavior/arrests, or personal relationships.?Does the artist fit into a specific style or trend? Were they innovative in moving in new directions? Did they, in turn, influence the next generation? Why should this artist be included in musical history books? Proofread for grammar, sentence structure, and writing style.
Disintegration of Joint Family System
During the 1800s, and well into the 1900s, families took care of their own members whenever possible. Several generations lived together, with the younger generation taking care of the older and vice versa. In the post-1900s, the joint family system started disintegrating. Interview at least five people of varying ages from different families to know their perspective on the disintegration of the joint family system. Based on your interview findings and learning from your readings, respond to the following questions: What factors led to the disintegration of the joint family system? What has been the impact of this disintegration on aging people and long-term care? Did disintegration have any benefits for health service organizations? Why or why not? At the same time this shift occurred in the family structure, health care organizations were experiencing continuous changes in their operating styles. The long-term care system took some time to catch up with the changing nature of businesses. In the 1990s and early 2000s, long-term care was seen to experience several turbulent changes, particularly related to its operations, management, and structure. Research the South University Online Library and the Internet to find information on the changes in the long-term care system in the United States and respond to the following questions: How have the operations, management, and structural changes of the 1990s and early 2000s impacted the long-term care system today? What are the strengths and weaknesses of the present long-term care system in the United States?
