Reaction/review essay topic: Regionalism & Global Governance The analytical review should provide a clear and concise analysis of the readings based on some theme or themes that you feel best helps to understand underlying assumptions, similarities, differences, and or lessons learned related to the topic at hand in specific regard to the issue. It should be a synthetic analysis that identifies and illustrates lessons learned for the understanding of the topic at hand.

The essay question is “Did the Weimar Republic ever command the loyalty of a significant proportion of Germans?”, the idea is to discuss and analyse the effort of the weibmar republic and wether they were accepted by the the majority of Germans.

Topic for the letter is Pollution, specifically plastic waste and vehicle pollution. For this assignment, write a letter to someone related to the local issue you highlighted on the week 8 forum. Provide the name, position, and mailing address of one person you could contact regarding the local issue at the top of your submission. Add legitimacy to your claims by providing citations using the Turabian style and include a list of your references (required). Use 12 pitch, Times New Roman font and 1 inch margins.

Choose three U.S. presidents who have had a substantial impact on U.S. Foreign Policy toward the Middle East, and draft a quality 5–7-page research paper providing a concise but thorough analysis explaining the impact of each president’s policy. As is mostly the case with USFP, this includes both positive and negative consequences if not simple tradeoffs, whether moral or strategic in nature. Pay attention to whether your president served before or after WWII, since the geopolitical environment of USFP after America became a hegemon in the Middle East region presented post-WWII presidents with significantly higher cost-benefit calculations than earlier presidents faced when Britain was the regional hegemon doing the heavy lifting. ***Caution—Students may not write on the Barbary presidents, since we have already covered this issue. The paper must be in current Turabian style with default margins and in 12-pt Times New Roman font and submitted in an MS Word document. The paper must include a title page and reference page also in current Turabian format. An unresolved question concerning the anarchy on the Easter Islands involves the logical arguments explaining why and how it occurred or was the anarchy caused or constituted. Rationalists would argue that the anarchy resulted from a change in capabilities or material resources, while constructivists would argue that the anarchy was a result of changed ideas, values, or norms. Both schools of thoughts are able to explain the changes on the islands but one of them may make a stronger case in explaining anarchy. Write: In your assignment, complete the following: Explain the anarchy that developed on the Easter Islands using a rationalist argument. Explain the anarchy that developed on the Easter Islands using a constructivist argument. Assess which argument provides the most logical explanation for the anarchical events on the Easter Islands.
