Domain Of The Function
1. What is the domain of the function? 2. What is the rate of change of the function at x=1? 3. Use the graph of the function to find the limit. lim x ? ? 1 f ( x ) 4. What is the slope of the tangent line to the graph of the function at x=4? 5. Find an equation of the tangent line to the graph of f(x) at x=1. Evaluate the derivative of the function at x=0: f ? ( 0 ) .
Inventory Evaluation
dentify all three inventory methods including their advantages and disadvantages. Identify the inventory method used by your selected corporation. How does this corporation value its inventories? Why do you think the corporation selected this inventory method? Explain your answer. Use the cost of goods sold formula to compute net purchases, which are not reported in the corporation’s financial statements. Include your calculations. Determine your selected corporation’s inventory turnover and days’ sales in inventory for the most recent year end. (Round each ratio to one decimal place.) Find your selected corporations biggest competitor and access their annual report for the most recent year available. Determine the inventory turnover and days sales in inventory for the most recent year end of the competitor. (Round each ratio to one decimal place.) Based on the ratios calculated for your selected corporation and its largest competitor, compare the ratios of your selected corporation with that of its largest competitor. Conclude the essay by answering the following questions: Do you consider this an optimal analysis for determining whether to invest in your selected corporation? Why or why not? The conclusion should be built on the information you provided in the body of the essay. Do not introduce new ideas in the conclusion.
Philosophy Of mathematics
I choose to write istead of a presentation. I won’t consider expensive offers as this is easy and I could do myself. Just want to see what you guys will offer. Quite easy, pick any style you want. These are the questions to answer. (1) Meaning: What does it mean to be a mathematician? (2) Motivation: Why did you choose this person? What drew you to them? (3) Background: Who is this person? Describe their path to becoming a mathematician. (4) Contributions: How did this person contribute to the mathematical community? What was the focus of their work? (5) Reflection: What did you find most interesting or surprising about this person and their contributions? Could you relate to them in any way
Labor Cost Considerations
Complete this assignment and submit it to the dropbox by the required due date and time. Most students use Microsoft Excel to complete the problems and attach the answers. Other students have scanned their answers, and sent it as attachment.1. The Alibi Restaurant is normally open for business until 8:00 P.M. Recently, business has been getting better during the time period just before closing, and the manager is attempting to determine the viability of remaining open until 9:00 P.M. She estimates her additional costs for the extra hour as follows:Labor $75Heat, Light, and Gas $12Variable cost of food, beverage, etc. 40% of salesa. What additional sales are necessary for the manager to break even exactly on the extra hour of opening?b. If the manager were able to obtain $280 in sales volume for the extra hour, what income could be applied to normal overhead expenses?2. A restaurants income statement shows the following cost and sales structure:Sales $450,000Fixed Costs $135,000Directly Variable Costs $120,000What must the semivariable cost figure be if the restaurant is to show a profit of $30,000?3. In Erphalenes Restaurant, fixed costs are 30 percent of sales, and directly variable costs are 25 percent. What percentage of sales should semivariable costs be if the restaurant is to show a 10 percent profit?4. A restaurant selling hamburgers employs only one cook. During the peak lunch hour, the cook is able to produce 120 hamburgers per hour. During the slack afternoon period, he produces only 30 hamburgers per hour. If each hamburger sells for $0.60 and the cook is paid $8.00 per hour, calculate the labor cost per hamburger for one hour during each of the two periods described.PLEASE READ FIRST CH 18 HERE!

Theoretical Probability
The probability of an event can be determined in theory as well as in practice. In this project, you will use the formulas and methods in your readings to determine the theoretical probability. You will then conduct an experiment to see if the outcomes match what you expect to find with the theoretical probability. In this project you will: be able to calculate and interpret probability be able to analyze and compare theoretical and experimental probabilities To complete this project you will: Complete the Probability Report Worksheet to guide you in writing your APA report. Be sure to show all work! Complete a 2-page, double-spaced, APA-formatted report. In the report you need to present your findings and explain your conclusions on experimental and theoretical probability. Thoughts to include in the report include: How are theoretical and experimental probability different? Why might the theoretical probability not match the experimental probability? Be sure to cite your sources for the questions that require sources.
