In regard of The Bhagavadgita: Explain how dharma, karma, and the gunas determine action. What are the implications of this theory for moral responsibility? (Ensure that you understand Krishna’s explanation of how people go wrong morally and epistemologically.) How adequate a framework for explaining action do they provide?

How does Lao-tzu describe and criticize human behaviour and attitudes in chapters 2, 9, 12, 16, 24, 30, 47, 64 (and others as you see fit). Assess the strength of these criticisms and Lao-tzu’s recommendations for change.

What is a Just State? Explain the idea that society should be based on virtue by discussing Confucius, Plato, and /or Aristotle Explain at least one version of social contract theory Illustrate your understanding of the classical and social contract approaches to justice with illustrative examples from contemporary political life. The Nature and Significance of Philosophic Inquiry: What is Philosophy?

This paper is designed to help you explore both course material and personal beliefs about social work practice. The development of a professional identity as a social work practitioner begins as you critically reflect on self and practice in your senior year. While aspects of this paper are personal reflections to critically examine your personal beliefs, you are also required to use course materials to describe the approaches and models you are discussing in your paper. This should be 5-7 pages not including reference or title page. Proofread, answer all questions, use APA format and cite a minimum of five times to course readings this semester.
