Based on the book “Discourses” by Machiavelli  QUESTIONS: 1. Assuming that a republic is healthy (not corrupt), how and to what extent does Machiavelli demonstrate an appreciation for the people (the multitude, the populace, or il popolo)? What role do leaders play in maintaining that healthy republic with regards to the populace?
