 As described in the chapter stress can be both good and bad. However, when we think of stress we tend to focus on the bad side. The author provides descriptions of both good (i.e., challenge) and bad (i.e., hindrance) for both the workplace and outside the workplace for a total of four categories of stressors. For this discussion, identify one stressor from each of the four categories. Using a current or former workplace (or other) gives an example of when you have experienced these stressors. What was the outcome? What type of strain did you experience? Which coping mechanism types did you use? 

Assignment 4 (800 words minimum) For your final written assignment, you are asked to choose a well-known character from any popular movie, TV show, or book, or any well-known historical figure (MUST be different from the one you wrote about in your Assignment 3!) who you believe has a diagnosable psychological disorder as determined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (5th ed.; DSM-5; American Psychiatric Association [APA], 2013). Your task is twofold: • Using Chapter 14 as a guide, describe the symptoms or information that you have which support a specific DSM-5 diagnosis. • Next, using your textbook’s Chapter 15, describes how a therapist would treat this individual using a specific clinical intervention. You can take any therapeutic approach that you would like. • The required paper format is Times New Roman 12 pts font, double-spaced, normal (1 inch all around) margins, 800 words minimum. The table below provides a general roadmap for how you can write this paper and divide up the different sections. % Breakdown Content of your Paper ~10% (100 words) Introduce the character/person ~70% (500 words) Describe their DSM-5 based diagnosis. Describe an appropriate specific treatment. ~20% (200 words) Summarize your paper. Discuss how your hypothetical treatment would proceed. What would they be like at the end of treatment? Write the word count at the bottom of your paper.
