Written assignment questions give you the opportunity to demonstrate a mastery of the material from the texts, additional resources, and discussions. In your answers, be sure that when you make reference to the words or ideas of another, you carefully cite your sources. Final Paper guidelines  The goal of this paper is to demonstrate the ability to gather information about a real conflict within an organization and to interpret that information using theory in order to arrive at a diagnosis and plan for intervention. The final draft will have five parts, which are outlined below.  1. Chose a case study. Be sure that the case history is comprehensive and clearly explained and includes sufficient information to allow for meaningful analysis.  2. Diagnosis of the conflict using models from the course readings as well as your own research. Include a thorough analysis of the parties involved, their interests, and any external factors which are important to your understanding and diagnosis of the conflict. Discuss organizational change, if present, and cultural factors, if relevant. Be sure that your diagnosis is supported by the details of the case history and incorporates references to the literature.  3. Your intervention strategy. How will you work with the parties? What challenges do you anticipate? Include a discussion of the setting (workplace, school) and how that may influence your intervention. Be sure that your strategy is realistic and is comprehensive in its consideration of relevant factors such as organizational change, ethical concerns, and cultural diversity.  4. Confidentiality: Explain the importance of confidentiality in this process. Secure each party’s agreement to maintain the confidentiality of the mediation.  5. Bibliography in APA format Your paper should be 14 pages not including the title page and works cited and include at least eight scholarly resources in addition to the course material. 6. Welcome to your first discussion thread! To start things off, we are going to jump right in to one of the most controversial topics in history- can science and religion coexist? Science involves observation and experimentation to build theories about the physical and natural world. It is a factual based discipline that has shaped and advanced society as we know it. On the other hand, religion is defined as the service and worship of God(s) or the supernatural. According to the Washington Post, 8 in 10 people identify with a religious group. 84% of the world’s population has a faith, an extremely high percentage considering the 7.6 billion people that inhabit this world.  There are thousands of resources, from YouTube videos, websites, books, even television shows that debate this controversial topic. Do some research and let us know what you think. Can the two coexist peacefully? Can you find an example of when a religious ideology has been scientifically supported? What is your opinion? Please respond tastefully and be respectful of individuals personal beliefs.

The purpose of this assignment is for the student to demonstrate the ability to critically think about family’s safety threats versus risk factors, knowledge of the key concepts of the family solutions model and apply those skills to produce task for a “Safety Plan”. The Johnson family scenario will be used in class and for this assignment.   Information will be used from the Cycle of Destructive Behavior developed by the student in class for Ms. Johnson. This will be a written paper from 3-4 pages, not including the cover page, references. APA formatting is required (1 inch margins on all sides, 12 pt. font, and double spaced).  Student will: Demonstrate at least four key concepts of the Family Solutions Model while communicating how it applies to the Johnson Family Scenario. Determine the conflicts within the family that increases the risk for abuse, safety threats,  and exceptions that increase protective factors. Identify the Family Developmental tasks in which family struggles with, also known as the Every Day Life Event (EDLE) and discuss how it led to a safety threats for the child or children in the Johnson case. Referencing your Cycle of Destructive Behavior developed in class, explain Ms. Johnson’s cycle specifically focusing on the “ACE”, Avoid/Cope/Escape portion of the cycle. Identify and discuss at least five specific tasks that could be used on the family’s Safety Plan.   In conclusion the student should discuss how their knowledge of Family Solutions could enhance their delivery of services while enhancing safety permanency and wellbeing to the families you serve.

Imagine this presentation is like a travel guidebook—letting someone from outside of the culture know what he or she should expect to find if they were to visit the mythical place. Understanding developmental milestones is vitally important to understanding infant and toddler development. Only with a thorough understanding of development can a caregiver adequately care for and plan for a young child. Review the case study  and answer the 3 questions posed.   Remember to support your writing with research and examples.  Case Study – Hannah Hannah is 12 month old who is relatively new to your child care center.  She has been at the center for 2 weeks.  When Hannah and her mother arrive at the center, Hannah is smiling and relaxed.  Once she realizes that her mother will not be staying with her, she becomes inconsolable and clingy.  This is both stressful to Hannah and her mother who is almost certain to be late for work.   It takes an hour or more for Hannah to calm down and begin engaging with the other children.  As Hannah’s caregiver, please answer the following questions: What is occurring in Hannah’s social and emotional development that is contributing to this reaction?
