Research Florida’s current statutes regarding parental liability, read the article linked below and answer the questions that follow. Should parents be responsible for the acts of their children?   Why or why not? (Please remember that while your opinion is important, it needs to be based on researched facts not anecdotes or conjecture.) Are Florida’s current laws strong enough? (Be sure to include a discussion of both relevant statutes).  If so, why?   If not, what would you add to the current legislation to make it better?

How Decisions Are Made in Communal Societies Read the article CLOSELY in this packet about how decisions were made in hunting and gathering societies. It is called decentralized–in other words, there is no central, main person or group who makes and enforces the rules. EVERYONE is responsible for enforcing the social “norms” or values of the society. What are the main valuses/morals of these hunting and gathering societies according to what this article says? Read the article as many times as is necessary.  After telling us what you think the main values are, give examples based on the societies that the article talks about. How does this choice of the unit of analysis limit the conclusions that could be drawn from the study?   Expectation: In order to thoroughly and adequately respond to these questions, I anticipate that the completed assignment should be about 1-2 pages double-spaced. Written assignments are worth 20% of your final grade, and this is the first of three assignments. Each assignment will count for 10% and your lowest assignment grade will be dropped at the end of the semester. A well-done assignment will feature clearly written, justified, and thorough answers that demonstrate an understanding of material covered in readings, lectures, discussions, and in-class activities. Grammatical and spelling errors take away from the clarity of your writing – so please proofread your responses before submitting them. All work must be original and in accordance with academic integrity standards. If you quote or paraphrase from work that is not your own, you must clearly cite and acknowledge that work using any standard reference format (MLA, Chicago, etc.).

Discussion on Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Address the following  1.) Compare and contrast the countries.  2.) How are the cuisines influenced by their geographical location?  3.)
