Even though the exact etiology of the disorder is unknown the symptoms are well defined, thus providing essential information for educational treatment. Currently, educational treatment approaches are based on three theories explaining the presence of common symptoms. In your opinion which theory (perceptual/cognitive theory, developmental theory, or behavioral theory) would you use to educate students with autism? Give an example to help explain your viewpoint. You are required to post your initial substantive response as well as respond, in 50 words or more, to two other students’ posts.
