You should have an opening paragraph that captures the readers attentions and orientates them to the topic and  direction your paper will take. Then the  following paragraphs (body of your paper) should follow that direction you provided the reader in your opening paragraph. Throughout your paper when you make statements ask yourself “how am I backing these up?” or “how am I supporting what I am saying?” This is where you will want to add supporting evidence with direct quotes or evidenceChapter 3 dives into the theories that are use to understand the growing, global issue of human trafficking. We also learn that in different regions throughout the world the human trafficking demand, types/methods of trafficking used, and efforts to combat human trafficking can be unique to that region. Chapter 3 provides “Snapshots” broken down into 6 different regions around the globe. These are indicated in Exhibit 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, & 3.6. Your assignment is to choose one of these regions and apply what you have read regarding the possible motivations traffickers have, who the victims are, and the types of buyers/ or those who seek to purchase services provided by trafficking in those regions you choose to focus on. In addition to your text, you will have to research and find current news articles and or other professional research that gives the reader a bigger picture or snapshot into the problems with human trafficking in that region. Once you have a good background of the “ecological factors” including political, economic, social, historical factors of the region you will be able to use the theories discussed in chapter 3 to write write your paper. Do not get overwhelmed with this paper. There is plenty of news and information about all of these regions. You will find that each region is unique in its own way. Why is this so? What makes it unique?  Some may have more sex trafficking, others more labor trafficking, or some may have more people trafficked from out of country to that region whereas some may have larger numbers from right there in their own country.
