Do you think extremist Muslims hate the United States because it has troops on soil they consider holy (Saudi Arabia)? If so, why don’t we take them out of there? Or is it fear of losing Saudi oil that keeps them there? please I need an answer on those questions

The sociology of education is not merely concerned about educational policy or curriculum reform but the much larger question of the purpose of education and how education dovetails with the demands of our economic system. What are the different ways we can look at education from a sociological perspective and how are they helpful in advancing the lives of those who are under-served. How does current educational policy undermine those who have fewer resources than the well off?

For the final exam, you will combine what you’ve learned from our lecture videos and class readings. You will use information from these sources (and ONLY these sources) to answer ONE of the three questions below. In what ways does technology influence broader societal trends and beliefs and in what ways do they influence technology? In what ways can we challenge the idea of history as a linear progression? Do we see examples in the history of technology that defy the idea of constant “progress”? Do we see examples of previous technologies returning and being repurposed? Many say that “necessity is the mother of invention,” while David Nye proposes that often “invention has been the mother of necessity.” Briefly explain his theory and support this idea using evidence from throughout the semester. Specifics: !  Minimum word-count: 1,500 words (maximum 1700) !  You MUST CITE your information (parenthetical citations, footnotes, or endnotes are all acceptable). Citation information for class readings can be found in the syllabus. For lecture videos, you may use short, informal citations (ex. “The Role of War lecture” or “Crash Course: Computing lecture.” !  In order to assess everyone in the same way, you CANNOT use sources used for your film essay (unless you used lecture material or class readings for your essay) or any other outside sources. !  You should balance your use of sources so you’re regularly citing information from both the readings and lecture videos !  You should answer the question in a cohesive, well-organized essay. It should not just be a list of facts. However, you should include many detailed examples when answering the question !  Exams should be uploaded as Word documents or PDF files. Please do not upload other files types (ex. Pages, link to a Google Doc, etc.)

Select a specific case of labor collective action, historical or contemporary, in the United States or elsewhere in the world. It can be a case in which a group of workers united to try to change something about their society or the world (could be about labor issue in the narrow sense—like wages, hours, benefits, job security, working conditions, etc.—or about some other kind of issue) Or it can be a case in which some group or people (not necessarily only workers, or only the workers directly affected) united to try to affect some aspect of labor conditions. Who were the people involved? What were they trying to accomplish? Why did they think it was important? How did they go about trying to accomplish it? Hello! This is a Final Research Paper that I’ve been working on all semester. The rubric is uploaded, as well as a sample paper. and single paragraph the professor gave us to base our structure off of. The research question is as follows:  I will analyze the social aspects of skating and reflect on the cultural aspects that surround it pertaining but not limited to race, gender, sexuality, income and ability. What social/societal aspects can be seen in the skateboarding culture and how are they defined? Using this question, I am asked to craft a final research essay using the reflections I attached and also a minimum of 7 scholarly sources (2 primary and 5 secondary).
