Deliverable: New Product Launch (100 points) For this assignment, imagine you are a communications professional in charge of promoting the launch of a new product or service. Using a real or fictional business, decide what the new product or service will be. Your assignment should include the following elements: A ½- to 1-page description of this product or service, including identification of the products or services target audience. A 1-page press release to accompany the launch. You have the option of comparing websites and Web marketing principles, OR creating a simple internet banner ad to introduce the new product (you do not need to actually design the ad, just a description of what it would look like, and the wording you would use. You will note from a popular site such as Facebook.com that the banner ads appearing on the right side of your screen are eye-catching, short, and to the point.) A 1- to 2-page outline of a strategic communication plan for getting the word out about this new product or service. Include in your outline specific information about how, where, and to whom you will be promoting this product or service.
