Based on this research, evaluate, design, and facilitate, a differentiated professional development program that presents the effect of the policy on your school district either positively or negatively.
Develop a lesson plan for the professional development session. Use the COE lesson plan template found in the Student Success Center under the College of Education. Be sure to write your lesson plans to IRA Standards for Reading Professionals.
Develop a digital graphic presentation (12-15 slides) on the topic of how to take action to influence local, state, or national policy decisions. This presentation is to be used for professional development for teachers. Include the following:

1. Reason(s) for the policy and its implementation.
2. Length of time the policy has been in effect.
3. Any surveys or studies that indicate success or failure of the policy.
4. Any suggested actions to improve the success or to address the failure of the policy.
5. Current status on this policy (is it still in effect, is it being looked at for modification or replacement, etc.)

In addition, create a title slide, reference slides, and slide notes that provide detailed explanation of your examples.
Develop a participant reflection/feedback form. Build the form in a manner that allows you to prepare a summary of the reflection/feedback you received from your participants. You will be using the form to elicit feedback for your field experience this week.
Include an agenda for participants containing research and resources for them to refer to after the presentation.
APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
