Format of the Country Report 1. Introduction Provide the country’s profile in terms of its demographic, economic, political, and cultural evolution over the last few decades. In particular, focus on factors that have affected and continue to affect the country’s economic growth and overall development potential. 2. National Enabling Environment Discuss in detail the national profile on the conditions of Local Economic Development (LED). The report should provide information on what policy steps were taken to make the country perform well economically. That means you provide:             data on the shift in economic policy, institutional changes, governance, removal of constraints to business              review the LED planning and partnership between the actors (local governments, the business community and non-governmental organizations) to stimulate investments that will promote sustained high growth in a local community        assess the local community’s comparative advantage in existing market opportunities for businesses, and reduction of constraints to business expansion and creation 3.
