Current Issues Argumentative Essay
Pick one of the topics from the following or choose your own topic of interest (instructors approval required) and write a six-paragraph essay: Should Border Wall Be Built?; Does Systemic Racism Exist? Should Vaping Be Legalized? ; Should Same-sex Marriage Be Legalized? ; Is technology restricting human imagination? . Your essay should have at least 6 paragraphs (No page limit! But your essay should consist of at least 6 paras.). Argumentative essay is a genre of writing that requires the students to critically argue for or against a topic; collect, generate, and evaluate evidence; and establish a position on the topic in a concise manner. You have a claim, and you argue to convince readers of your claim. You discuss your agreement or disagreement with someone or something with reason or evidence.
