Discuss the ways in which new denominations of the SGA contributed to a rise in reform and activism. (Action #1-Identify and describe at least 2-3 denominations that you think contributed to REFORM efforts) In what ways were the reform movements an extension of the democratic impulses of the nineteenth century? (Action #2- Note how the Reform efforts reflected democratic principles—equality, liberty?)
