Disorder Diagnosis Paper

In previous weeks we discussed co-morbidity and differential diagnosis. Three of the disorders we examine this week are very similar, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Intermittent Explosive Disorder.  For your post, weave in answers to the following: How are these disorders similar?  How are they different? Discuss some key symptoms, distinguishing features, or factors that you can look for to help you differentiate and distinguish between these three disorders.  How do the “Development and Course” sections of the DSM and the “Risk and Prognostic Sections” of the DSM help us better understand each of these three diagnoses (include examples). Give an example of when it would be appropriate to diagnose an individual with two of these disorders (co-morbid), for example Conduct Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
