Duties and Responsibilities of a Manager project Students will work individually. This should be a traditional writing assignment, following writing guidelines (title page, double-space, 1 margins, APA style for in-text references). This paper should be 3 to 5 pages in length. Each student is to interview a radiology manager/director asking the following questions: How do you handle complaints from customers (internal and external)? How do you orient new employees (technical and clerical) to the department? How do you motivate employees? How do you discipline employees? How do you do performance evaluations? What is your process for purchasing new equipment? How do you do prepare for inspections (JCAHO, state health departments, etc )? Combine all of the data collected from each manager/director and summarize it. Use each question as a subject heading Include suggestions for improving any of the processes used by the managers/directors. Minimum of three sources: Textbook Interview with a director/manager or an HR employee about the interviewing practices at their facility Articles or other books (can be online sources)
