Effects of Intimidation and Bullying on Development
This paper will be a 3-4-page research paper; double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font and in APA format. Additionally, a minimum of 3 sources are required. In this paper, students will research and discuss the implications of bullying, harassment and/or intimidation on individuals over the course of the lifespan. Specifically, do these effects change as we grow? Are the effects most poignant at a certain developmental stage? Or might they be the same across human development? Moreover, students will discuss what these effects might include and how individuals may experience these effects differently cross-culturally. Also, students will discuss the effects bullying and intimidation has on our society and moral reasoning in the development of what is considered, socially acceptable. One might address whether bullying and intimidation might be considered more or less socially acceptable at certain life-stages; and why that might be. Lastly, students will provide 3 recommendations for combatting bullying and intimidation of societal members of all ages.
