Electrical Engineering

Students must craft and argue a thesis responding to the following question:When considering American society and all of the components that hold it together, we know that technology and economics are at the very core of America’s survival and success. Being that our course focuses on technology and its impact on American society, your research paper will examine the source of technology in America: engineering. Without engineers and engineering, it is hard to imagine an America without technology, which leads to our question. Based on your research, what is the most vital engineering field for today’s American society? Why?You are to only select one field and argue its importance to American society and support that argument with RESEARCH.  Remember, “society” encompasses economics, energy, transportation, healthcare, etc.You are not summarizing and explaining the selected engineering field throughout your entire research paper. You are explaining its importance in reference to American society and why.Background information and briefly describing the engineering field as part of the introduction is important, but it should not be the main focus of your research.
