Ethical Issues In Healthcare
Select a world region discussed by Jentleson in Chapters 10-14. Given regional characteristics and powers, what do you believe to be the most important U.S. interest there? What are the most significant challenges to that interest, and what you believe the U.S should do (policy-wise) to address these challenges?Answers can be broken down along those lines, with about a third of your answer giving a brief regional summary before centering on a primary U.S. interest; the next addressing challenges to it, etc. When laying out the interest and your policy recommendation(s), consider them in light of Jentlesons 4 Ps, and the trade-off between them. For example, an interest or policy may be primarily economic (i.e. related to prosperity) but nonetheless involves trade-offs in security, peace or principles. Be sure to talk about those trade-offs.
