Evaluation Research

Imagine that for your research proposal about why students chose Springfield College, someone asks the question “Is this evaluation research?” Your quick response is yes. Your assignment is to defend this position about your proposal being evaluation research. Out of the three topics appropriate for evaluation research, describe which one is the most relevant to your research question, and how it could be turned into/defended as evaluation research (Hints: what is the value of the information you collect from students? What if the data is collected over time? What could we do with it then? Is there a value in that? Who wants to know what information you collect? What could be done with the data? To whom is that data potentially important? Is there a problem that the data can potentially help address? As always 1-2 pg max, double spaced. There is no research paper on Springfield College.
