Family Bonds
Your second essay will be about family bonds. In particular, you will write a time when you learned something about a member of your family that made you closer OR pushed you apart (this could be the family you were born into or the family you made through friendships, hobbies, work, or it could even be a pet). We can see from our viewing this semester that family bonds can change and develop and regress all the time!
You may decide to write about a family member with whom you have always been close, or you may choose to write about someone you became closer to over a specific incident or experience. You can choose whom you would like to talk about and whether it was a positive or negative experience.
The only requirement is that it is true and authentic.
Your final paper will include an introduction, at least two-three body paragraphs that include specific examples and explanation that help to support your thesis, and a concluding paragraph.
These paragraphs must be polished, meaning they should be proofread by YOU, and they should include transitions and should make every attempt at correct grammar and spelling. Please submit your best work.
