Flight from Death Document Review

Go the following weblink and watch the award winning Documentary “Flight From Death”: Provide a summary review of the documentary, highlighting your initial reaction to the documentary at a gut and/or emotional level, and one or two statements regarding anything you took from this documentary that helps or hurts your understanding of death and dying in your culture.  Provide a discussion of terror management theory (TMT, which was a central theme of the film), and discuss how the theory may explain (or fail to explain) what we are seeing in the U.S. regarding the current pandemic climate (e.g., death anxiety, concerns with personal freedom, political discord, etc.).  Finally, conclude with your idea for a basic research experiment based on TMT (examples in the film include the study with the flag and ink at others) you might propose regarding the theory and the current pandemic.
