Gendered Economies

Topic: GENDERED ECONOMIES!!!!!!!!You will select a topic (GENDERED ECONOMIES) that relates to themes/readings/discussions from the course. There is some flexibility here so you can choose something that aligns BOTH with the course, and YOUR interests! You MAY establish a ‘link’ or tie-in to other academic interests you have as long as they synthesize with Economic Geography. Similarly, if you have developed or are developing a particular area of interest/expertise, feel free to expand on that through your research topic choice.In addition, you must read and make reference to at least TWO scholarly articles relevant to your topic. You should provide a discussion that ties your scholarly articles with the broader topic you are discussing.The paper should be between 1000-1500 words in length, and any references should be properly cited (you may use any style you prefer as long as you’re consistent). There is NO required framework or set of prompts – rather use this opportunity to explore a topic that aligns with Economic Geography by ‘asking a question’ and/or exploring a theme!!
